You had to leave your job at  the women's center and go to work at the family dairy farm.  But you're still on the board of directors. You're busy at  work when some of the staff members drop by your  "office" wanting to debrief about the latest evidence of a class system in your supposedly non-hierarchical organization. They also inform you that the county commissioners say they won't give the organization any money unless you have at  least two men on your board "for balance." The staff  members want to be sure you'll be at the breakfast  board meeting tomorrow at  7:00 a.m. so there will be a  quorum. "No can do," you  say, "tomorrow's vet check."

urban feminists visit rural program
Urban feminists come out to inspect the fruits of your rural project labor. "I didn't realize there were rural women in the United States!"says the representative from the Urban and Academic Feminist Global Rural and Gender Issues Sustainability of Women in Agriculture Research and Lots of Money Forum. "I'm really getting dizzy from all the space," says  the other. "I think I'm going to tip over!"
