You had to leave your job at the women's center and go to work at the family dairy farm. But you're still on the board of directors. You're busy at work when some of the staff members drop by your "office" wanting to debrief about the latest evidence of a class system in your supposedly non-hierarchical organization. They also inform you that the county commissioners say they won't give the organization any money unless you have at least two men on your board "for balance." The staff members want to be sure you'll be at the breakfast board meeting tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. so there will be a quorum. "No can do," you say, "tomorrow's vet check."
