The next item on the agenda is to create an economic self-sufficiency project that will provide employment for women and generate money to keep the center open. Suzy comes to the planning meeting late, smelling a little like a barn.  As she takes off a huge pair of overalls she complains, "darn  it! I'm so tired of not being  able to buy overalls for women! Who do these city boys think does the chores out here!" "Eureka!" yells Jane.

Millie raises a cloud of dust as she hurriedly responds to a crisis call on County Road MM by the Arickaree Creek Bed where it intersects with the Old Pleasant Meadow School House. She's trying to get there before Sheriff Zwirley Dern so he won't arrest the victim as well as the batterer.  Sheriff Dern's response to the new Probable Cause Arrest Policy, as quoted in the weekly High Plains Ramblin'  Man was, "I'll prob'ly jus' arrest 'em both and let the judge sort it out."
