As a fundrasier, we served breakfast at the annual air show out at the airport south of town. The wind came up early, but Laura's husband Ed had cleverly erected an old roll-up tarp off his 40 foot grain trailer over our counter, so we had a little shelter and it kept the fire on the grill from blowing out. Some of the planes couldn't do their tricks because of the dirt blowing, so Carol Anne got discouraged and hid a box of wine under the pop machine, but we still scrambled 12 dozen eggs.
