Is it hard to find women's work
clothes, boots and boot socks, coveralls, gloves, winter and rain gear
from your location? Hate to go to town to shop? Or just like to browse
around a general store without leaving your house? Here are links to places
where you can find practical and hard-to-find merchandise for women living
far away from stores, who work and play outdoors, who are farmers
and gardeners and work with livestock. We can't vouch for all of
these stores -- please check their privacy and security policies before

"World's largest outfitters." There
are only a few retail stores in the country, but in northeast Colorado,
the outlet in Nebraska is "the" place to go on a Saturday afternoon.
Pick up a free catalog or order online. Outdoor wear and gear, camping,
hiking, fishing, hunting, cabins and lodge furnishings, ranchwear, bucket
bosses, more. They do sell clothing, shoes, and boots for women as
well as furnishings for the cabin.

Mail Order from Cody, Wyoming. Has all
kinds of things - for the house, garden, field, shop, and the garage and
farm - up to an including a calf sled, so you can pull that new calf behind
the 4-wheeler or your horse. New items include a steel-leaf gazebo (you'd
have to tie that one down in Wyoming!)

find." One of my personal favorites. I love their black and white paper
catalog that comes in the mail, full of the kinds of things you would like
to have again but can't find in stores (an enamel steel breadbox). Or that
you would never buy, but remembering them (like Evening in Paris perfume
in little blue bottles) makes you nostalgic. "We are famous as purveyors
