The greenhouse built by two women in 10 hours

Here is a picture of the inside of a greenhouse that is very easy to make.  It took took two women ten hours to put it together after the parts were all purchased, delivered and cut. It  is being used for flats of plants right now, but the black landscape fabric will be taken out, and then greens will be grown right in the ground.

The sides are 11 feet high. The base is 9 feet from side to side. The length of this one is 100 feet, but could be made shorter or longer. At the top is a ridge pole made from 2 x 4's. There are cut out triangles made of fiberboard to tie the sides together (provide stability).

Notice the chairs inside.  This is a very pleasant place to sit in the winter when the sun is coming through the clouds.  The temperature outside this day was 34 F, and inside it was 55.

View of the greenhouse from the outside, showing how the doors and ends are fastened. The base along the side on the outside is fiberglass to provide and edge for the roll up side to rest against. This also means that the wood does not rest on the ground.

The plastic rolls up to the side board, using electric conduit and black plastic water pipe to hold the plastic in place. On each end at in the middle is a trailer type cable "tie down" that holds the whole thing into the ground.
